This Policy applies to information we collect online through the Website. It does not cover information collected offline or through products and services that reference a different privacy notice.

  • Communication Data: message contents, inquiry details, and any other information you choose to submit (e.g., quote request details, project requirements).

We do not collect credit card or other payment information on the Website, and we do not process payments on the Website.

4) Information Collected Automatically (Cookies & Similar Technologies)

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Website, analyze usage, improve our content and user experience, and support remarketing/advertising. Information collected may include:

  • Device, browser, and operating system information
  • IP address and approximate location (derived from IP)
  • Page views, events, and interaction data (e.g., clicks, scrolling, session duration)
  • Referring/exit pages and campaign parameters

5) Third-Party Tools & What They Do

We use the following tools on the Website. These providers may place cookies or similar technologies that collect the types of data described above for the purposes listed.

  • HubSpot (CRM, forms, marketing automation & analytics): captures form submissions and site interactions to manage leads and communications.
  • Meta/Facebook Pixel (ads & remarketing): measures ad performance and supports audience creation for ads on Facebook/Instagram.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (ads & analytics): measures LinkedIn campaign effectiveness and supports audience creation for ads on LinkedIn.
  • Google Ads (ads & remarketing): serves and measures advertising across Google properties and the Google Display Network.
  • Google Analytics (site analytics): analyzes site usage and events to help us improve functionality and content.
  • Microsoft Clarity (behavioral analytics): provides session replays and heatmaps to understand aggregate user behavior.
  • Bing Ads / Microsoft Advertising (ads & remarketing): serves and measures advertising on Microsoft’s ad network. (Bing Ads is separate from Microsoft Clarity.)
  • Hotjar (behavioral analytics & feedback): heatmaps, session insights, and optional user feedback tools to improve UX.
  • SEMrush (SEO & traffic insights): helps us analyze aggregate website visibility/traffic sources for optimization.

6) How We Use Personal Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the Website, respond to inquiries, and fulfill requests (e.g., quotes or product information).
  • Communicate with you about your inquiry, our products/services, and relevant updates (if you opted in).
  • Operate analytics and diagnostics to improve the Website’s performance and content.
  • Conduct remarketing and advertising (see Section 10 for U.S. privacy disclosures).
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share information with “advertisers” on our Website (i.e., we do not host third-party advertisers to whom we pass your data). We disclose personal information only to:

  • Affiliates under common control, where appropriate and consistent with this Policy.
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Where required by law, we have contracts in place with service providers restricting their use of your information to the services they provide to us.

A. California & Other U.S. State Privacy Laws (CCPA/CPRA and similar)

Categories of Personal Information Collected: identifiers (e.g., name, email, IP), commercial information related to your requests/inquiries, internet/usage data, approximate geolocation from IP, professional information (if submitted).
Sources: directly from you (HubSpot forms) and automatically via cookies/trackers.
Purposes: as described in Sections 6–7.
Disclosures for Business Purposes: to service providers and processors (e.g., analytics/hosting/CRM/marketing).
Sale/Share: We do not sell personal information for money. We may “share” personal information (as defined by CPRA) with advertising/analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Bing Ads). You may opt out of such “sharing” through the cookie banner or by contacting us (see Section 13 and 16).
Sensitive Personal Information: We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.

Your Rights (subject to verification and exceptions):

    • Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected.
    • Delete personal information.
    • Correct inaccurate personal information.
    • Opt-out of sale/share of personal information (see above).
    • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

How to Exercise: Use the cookie preferences in our banner or contact info@ame.com (see Section 16). We will confirm receipt and respond within the timeframes required by law (typically 45 days for CCPA/CPRA).

Opt-Out Preference Signals: Where required by law, we process recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals (e.g., Global Privacy Control) as a request to opt out of “sale/share” for the browser/device.

Financial Incentives: We do not offer programs that provide monetary value or price differences in exchange for personal information.

Shine the Light: We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

B. EU/EEA & UK (GDPR/UK GDPR) – Your Rights

Subject to legal limits, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Supervisory Authority.

C. Canada (PIPEDA)

You have the right to access and correct your personal information and to withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice). To exercise your rights, contact info@ame.com. If unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial authority.

D. Mexico (LFPDPPP)

You may exercise your ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Opposition) and revoke consent by contacting info@ame.com. Please include your name, contact information, a description of your request, and sufficient details to locate your data. If you believe your rights were infringed, you may file a complaint with INAI (Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales).

E. Other U.S. States (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah)

If these laws apply to you, you may have rights similar to those above (access, delete, correct, opt-out of targeted advertising). Use the methods in Section 16 to exercise your rights. Where required, you may appeal a denied request using the instructions in our response.

11) Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data category and purpose. We also consider security, fraud prevention, and operational requirements.

12) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13) Cookie Consent & Preferences (ConsentManager)

We use ConsentManager (www.consentmanager.net) to display a cookie banner and manage consent in accordance with applicable laws (e.g., EU ePrivacy, GDPR, and certain U.S. state laws). Through the banner, you can:

  • Accept or reject non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics/remarketing).
  • Change your preferences at any time.
  • Obtain more details about each cookie category and tool.

If you reject non-essential cookies, some features may be unavailable or function with reduced performance. You can also control cookies via your browser settings.

14) Your Choices

  • Marketing Communications: You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails using the link in the email or by contacting info@ame.com. We may still send non-marketing/transactional messages related to your requests.
  • Analytics & Ads Preferences: Manage via the cookie banner and your browser/device advertising settings.
  • Do Not Track: We currently do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Where required, we honor browser-based opt-out preference signals as noted in Section 10(A).

15) Children’s Privacy

The Website is intended for individuals 18 years and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
